5.1.1.1 Switching power on and off

To save battery power and for safety reasons, always switch the power off when you leave your boat unattended and switch the power on when you return.

About this task

Risk of electric shock.

Do not touch the batteries or electric connections.

To keep the boat afloat and to prevent grey water spillage, the priority equipment (bilge pump and grey water pump) keep on operating even when you switch the power off.
  • When you leave the boat, switch off the power from the battery main switch on the main switch panel.
The switch cuts off the power supply to the engine and to the electrical equipment on your boat.
  • When you return to the boat, switch on the power from the battery main switch.
