5.1.2.1 Resetting tripped fuses

There are two types of fuses on your boat. Each type indicates the tripping differently and need to be reset differently.

When a 12 V DC fuse is tripped:

  • The fuse button is up

When a 110 V / 230 V AC fuse is tripped:

  • The switch in the fuse is down

  • The indicator in the fuse is green

Risk of electric shock or damage to the equipment.

Before you reset the fuse, find out why it has tripped.

Procedure
  1. Reset the fuse:

    • Press the button of the 12 V DC fuse down.

    • Flip the switch of the 110 V / 230 V AC fuse up. The indicator in the fuse turns red.

  2. Check that the equipment or appliances connected to the fuse work properly.
    If the problem persists, contact a qualified nautical electrician.
